Have you been able to build a business from what you learned in Katie's Master Consultant Course?

Yes. I work in the software industry full time and this is a business that I have grown on the side for extra income. I incorporated last July, went to Katie's class in October and was off and running. Now, having said that, can you take the class and just do it, no. You have to market yourself and find your niche. For me, I love new houses. So I talked with developers, sales agents, new home builders, real estate people in the area and designed my services around that.

With being incorporated, I was able to take ALL my expenses off as training.....I wrote off over $5,000 of expenses for the class, hotel, car, food, website, office supplies, logo design, books, everything dealing with me learning feng shui. I didn't really hit the ground until this year, but if I stay on target and with only working part time, I'll be looking at an extra $30,000 in income this year. Breaking that down, it works out to about 100 consultations per year, or 8 consults per month or 2 consults a week.

The key is to market yourself. I have probably done 20+ free consults.....first with family and close friends to get testimonials and have them spread my name word of mouth, but then I have also given away probably 10+ consults to charities and raffles to support causes near to my heart. Through that marketing and other events, I have landed even more business. (You always give a free certificate to give away or pass out flyers about your business to promote at local events.)

When I get to the point that I am at $100K+ a year, then I will quit my full time job. But if you think about it, that's only 6-8 consults a week......Not too hard, huh? And now is a great time to get into it. With everyone looking for that helping hand, most people will spend some dollars if they think you can help them make more dollars.

I can't say enough good things about Katie either!! She's awesome.....brings it down to earth just like in her weekly e-zine. She gives you the stuff you should concentrate on and not all the other stuff that just confuses the heck out of you!!

Even to this day, I often reference the Master Consultant Course manual to make sure I am on the right path. Katie will help you see that you are worth the $250 an hour that you are going to charge. You will have a knowledge that can help a lot of people and by being certified, you are even that much more valuable. You will gain confidence with every consult. I would say for my first consultations, I was tweaking my reports, my presentations, but now, I have a wealth of 'common' stuff on my computer that I just plop into the reports.....like Kua numbers and good directions.

It's awesome to be helping people and giving my family a better life. It's incredible that there is this other revenue stream that I control how big or small it is. And I let Katie do all the hard work for me. Every year I buy her Success Pack to give me what I need to quickly digest about the year ahead so I can give my clients good quality consultation reports. Jump at this chance!! You never know how long Katie will offer this course. She may offer it for 20+ years to come or may never offer it again.......you never know........
